| Electrical specialist Responsibilities 1. Monitor and evaluate on continuous basis the workload assignments to develop an optimum manning levels. 2. Review in conjunction with Instrument and Mechanical Senior Specialists or Specialists the manufacturer’s recommended spares holding list in the context of local operating conditions and develop and monitor spare parts holding with specific emphasis on emergency and shutdown items. 3. Develop, implement and document preventive maintenance system(s) for equipment under area of responsibility 4. Review on monthly basis the preventive maintenance program and take necessary /appropriate action if required. 5. Organize the maintenance activity and maintain at all time the Electrical equipments such as electrical motor, transformer, generators, switchboards/gears, cathodic protection, earthing system, UPS, PABX, etc and maintenance shop with appropriate special tools and diagnostic equipment, in conjunction with Instrument and Mechanical maintenance staff to ensure maximum in-house maintenance and repair capability to minimize equipment downtime. 6. Evaluate and certify that all work performed by contractor under area of supervision is executed in accordance with contractual requirements and company’s regulations andprocedures. 7. Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) 8. Ensure through on-site inspection that all work in area of responsibility is executed in accordance with company’s safety and environmental procedures. 9. Participate in the studies and review of plant asset integrity and assist to implement the recommendation 10. Responsible to the Electrical Supervisor for coordinating and safely leading a diverse team of specialist craftsmen who will carry out the maintenance of all Electrical equipments. 11. Responsible for monitoring equipment maintainability necessary to meet production objectives. 12. Responsible for the control of the maintenance budget assigned to his / her section Qualifications 1. Excellent command of English language and computer literate. 2. The jobholder should have an engineering Bsc. 3. Five (5) years solid, hands-on practical relevant experienced in oil and gas industries o 4. Well organized with safe work attitude. Must be safety conscious. | |
