| Senior Software Quality Engineer Responsibilities: Define, design, plan and execute necessary application tests Defect reporting, management and tracking till closure Requirements review and ability to uncover ambiguities or errors in the business and/or system requirements Estimation of testing tasks Generate detailed reports on application status and quality Define and report metrics that reflect project status and quality Take charge of building powerful automated test suites when needed Participate in developing quality standards within the department, and help in process improvement Investigate and evaluate new tools when needed Skills and Qualifications: B.Sc. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering 2-3 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Advanced knowledge in Software Quality and Testing concepts Ability to write detailed test plans and test cases Experience with defect management and test case management tools Experience with automated functional / regression testing tools Experience in requirements ambiguity analysis and test coverage analysis Experience in performance and load testing is a plus Familiarity with programming or scripting language(s) is a plus Certification (CSTE or ISTQB) is a plus Fast learner, self motivated, team player Creative thinking Strong analytical skills Good communication skills | |
