SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Regional Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading the strategic transformation of the Regional Supply Chain (SC) delivering a “step- change” in performance at optimal cost. He/she will also implement a regional material and inventory management process.

Additional key responsibilities include:
• Manage region direct reports of approximately 13 resources.
• Orchestrate and implement regional material and inventory management process and tools to reduce and manage inventory of region.
• Recruit and evaluate and upgrade the SC leadership and resources.
• Manage the operational P&M Managers in countries that comprise the region.
• Communicate the value proposition and drive the change management to deliver increased value.
• Report in matrix organization back to the SC function as well as the region leadership.
• Maintenance of the internal control environment and budgeting and resource levels of the region and country P&M organization.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 15 to 20 years of broad materials management experience
• Strong PC skills in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SAP
• Strong communication skills with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization.
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent facilitation/communication skills with the ability to overcome obstacles in project plan.
• Self-motivated and independent worker
• Highly adaptable, flexible and willing to develop new ideas, processes, and procedures.
• Possess strong analytical problem solving skills
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Experienced interaction with international planning/marketing organizations
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across the various business disciplines/divisions.

EDUCATION

• Four (4) year degree in Business or Marketing
• Masters degree in Materials Management or related field strongly preferred
