| SafeWatch Profiling-Application Test engineer The Application Test Engineer will develop, maintain and execute the test plans pertaining to the SafeWatch Profiling application, the promising solution in the AML Profiling field. The candidate will also contribute to the development of processes, methodologies, testing technique and product development. The Position reports to the Quality and Support Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Following the product development lifecycle, run tests (regression, integration or guerilla testing) and analyze any issues found in close cooperation with the developers. - Write test plans, test case documentation and when applicable, tests automation scripts. - Participate to the measurements of the overall quality of the software during development and maintenance process and make sure that the software meets business specifications and customer expectations. - When required, participate in software releases deployment, packaging and shipping. - When required, use the gained knowledge in order to help Application support engineers to investigate complex software issues. Qualifications: - 3 - 5 years of experience in a same role, preferably within a financial services environment; - You have a bachelor’s degree in a computer or technical related field or equivalent work experience; - Solid technical trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills; - Good communicator and team- player; - Technical requirements: o Comfortable in the following environments: UNIX (AIX, Solaris), Windows XP/2003. o Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, TranscSQL and database engines (Oracle, SQLServer) o Strong knowledge of a mainstream application server (BEA, Websphere, …). o knowledge of Crystal Report is an asset. - Programming knowledge (Java) is a real asset. General software understanding is required. QA automation experience is also a real asset. - You are flexible and open for traveling abroad for short missions (trainings, …).You speak fluent English ((All communication is to be done in English). French or any other languages are an asset. | |
