CLINICAL TRIAL TEAM LEADER

This is an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Trial Lead to join this leading international Contract Research Organisation with offices in Cairo.

Responsibilities include:

Managing clinical study set-up by way of the ongoing tracking and review of study progress. You will report progress to appropriate clinical management and project management.

Provide ongoing training and support to the clinical team.

Track the clinical budget through regular review of project budget reports.

You may be responsible for conducting monitoring visits at assigned sites for protocols that are complex or require knowledge in advanced therapeutic areas. Ensure that clinical research studies are conducted in accordance with the protocol, SOPs, GCP guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

In depth knowledge of applicable clinical research regulatory requirements: GCP and ICH guidelines.

Computer skills including proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Good written and spoken English.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in a health care or other scientific discipline or educational equivalent;

3 years clinical monitoring and one year in a project leadership role;

Frequent domestic and international travel.
