Mechanical Commissioning Superintendent Specific Requirement Mission: To manage commissioning and start-up activities for the pertaining discipline, ensuring the compliance of the relevant task with the technical and contractual requirements. The Mechanical Commissioning Superintendent will be integrated into Company Commissioning Organization. According to the tasks he is entrusted with by the Commissioning Manager, the Mechanical Commissioning Superintendents and their staff shall: • Carry out the tests within their field of responsibility; • Act as “tester” according to the instructions of the Commissioning Manager and take care of the necessary preparatory works; • Check for the progress of the activities carried out by Vendors and contractors; • Perform the technical supervision for said activities and check for the adequacy of the employed equipment, resources and technical documentation; • Prepare the reports of any non-conformity detected throughout the control of the work execution and quality and submit them to the Commissioning Manager for approval; • Check for the test results; • Collect the Vendors’ documentation covering the performed tests and complete the reports of the performed/coordinated tests; • Update the technical documentation of the involved functions on the basis of the works done during the Commissioning activity.
