| Project Engineer Overall responsibilities : • To progress assigned projects from planning through installation and commissioning stages to the preliminary hand-over, recognizing and meeting the customer's needs and in strict compliance with the time-frame, budget costs as well as technical, safety and quality standards. Specific duties and responsibilities: • Reviews the contract specifications, process design; and client requirements and prepares technical documentation for approval by the client/consultant. • Plans and expedites all activities related to the project execution; co-ordinates and follows up interdepartmental activities to ensure most effective cost control and timely completion of design, procurement and manufacturing as per the Project Plan. • Organizes the delivery of materials, the mobilization of manpower and equipment necessary for installation , commissioning and hand over of projects in accordance with the Project Plan • Organizes and controls installation and commissioning activities on site; supervising site personnel; ensuring adherence to technical, quality and safety standards; • Anticipates and uses initiative to resolve problems while constantly updating the Project Manager regarding progress; Ensures strict compliance with company Quality Policy and Departmental Procedures; Expedites receipt of payment at relevant stages of the project. • Assists other Project and Junior Engineers; carries out any other duties related to his area of expertise as assigned by the Projects Manager. B.Sc. Engineering. Chemical or Mechanical preferred 4 years experience in WT and WWT projects execution . | |
