| Configuration Manager Responsibilities: - Build management across all products, which involves - Labeling and Versioning - Running Build Acceptance Tests - Manage Deployment Documents - Communicating Releases to concerned parties - Manage Configuration of various staging servers (build, test and pre-production) across all products - Manage Production Servers across all products (maintenance and daily health checks) - Coordinate with Database Architect on database production environment - Coordinate with Development Operations Team and QA on emergency fixes - Evaluate Configuration Management Tools and automate manual processes Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with Visual Studio, SourceSafe, MSBuild and Team Foundation Server - Basic knowledge of SQL Server and SQL scripting required, with basic database administration experience - Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle - Familiarity with configuration management tools is a plus - Experience in software development using C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET and/or C++ is a plus - 1+ years of experience in software configuration and building in a MS Windows development environment is a plus - Good communication skills - Problem solving and troubleshooting skills | |
